Xmas Feast at Work

A workplace celebration indeed. As soon as I walked into the tea room I saw this bright green table full of treats.

There will be heaps of food and drinks until Christmas Eve, which tells me that I won't be starving when I work.

Good thing that I will be working in the office over the weekend, my workload won't be disastrous. Moreover, whenever I'm hungry I can just hop into the tea room. Great! I can even grab a plate and put plenty of food then bring it back to the office.

I do need plenty of rest tomorrow. Gonna be flying to Japan this Sunday with plenty of transits.
This year's Christmas and New Year looks promising, it's gonna be a great holiday!

The Mistletoe Bridge

Earlier this week, I was wondering what the mistletoe bridge is and where it is.

This morning I decided to walk from Flinders Street Station to DFO South Wharf. I saw this mistletoe bridge, a giant mistletoe to be precise!

Christmas is just around the corner and the whole city is bustling with Christmas feeling. Southbank is as lively as ever in this cool weather.

It's good to spent my free time walking around like this!

Highlight the Future

It's been more than 4 years since I came to Australia to study.
At last it has come to an end, not that I've seen my final result yet but yeah I know I did well.
There has been many things happening this year, even if 2011 has less than two months left, I know there are still heaps to come.

Let's see the future that is already foreseen as the highlight for this remaining time....
1. I'm going to Cairns with my housemates this Sunday, arriving back in Melbourne on Thursday night.

2. My brother's coming next week, Saturday to be exact. I'm so thrilled, I'm so happy I can't really express it with words, I've been longing for a family member to come to Melbourne.

3. French Festival (Paris to Provence) [25th-27th November 2011]. Yup, I will surely come for this one, I will drag my brother here along with my friends, it's gonna be merry!

4. On Monday, I'm going to Gold Coast with my brother and 3 friends. Three nights should be enough to play there, too bad I need to work on Friday, otherwise I would be more than happy to extend our stay.

5. My parents are coming here on 10th December to attend my graduation which will be on 15th! I'm not too excited with the graduation itself, I'm much more happier to spend family time together, too bad my sister can't come due to exam.

6. There will be Xmas Eve and New Year Eve Party at a friend's house, he already asked me to vacate my time on those two days.

There will be lots more going on, those are just the highlights, I will help my brother find a job as he'll start uni in February, I will look for a job myself, I hope I can get one before this year end. I also need to prepare for my visa application, fingers crossed on that one.

Welcoming December 2010

In December 2010.....

Marking the change of season into Summer.
Result of Semester 2, 2010 will be published.
I'll be going for Tasmania trip with my college friends.
There will be graduations of my friends.
There will be Christmas.
There will be new year.
And last but not least, my birthday. :)

Oh yeah, today I received my first pay from Woolworths, yay!
But the amount I received are totally the same with the amount I spent today.....
Oh well, I loved those clothes anyway, that should be the last time I shop this year, hopefully....

I'm really nervous with the result coming this Friday, I hoped for the best.
If I were to fail anything, my parents might withdraw me from Australia and I don't want that! I just started to enjoy my life here! If my result is satisfactory, I think I'll buy ticket for Usher's concert for this coming March 2011.

However, I'm really looking forward for my Tasmania Trip! Dunno why, I enjoyed having trip with these friends of mine. If I don't have part time job, I might have join them for the other trips (Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide).

After my Tasmania trip, I think I'll work a lot, to save up money.
There are so many things I need to buy before the end of December.....
Iphone 4, return flight ticket to my hometown........ they already amounted to almost $2,000!!!!! Geez.... I'm such a big spender....

Anyway, I believe December would never betray me, I wish an early Christmas and birthday present for my result.
